Exciting news! Starting today, I will post a scan of a new character that will appear in Season 3 of Guardian. I will reveal one character each week until September! This week I will reveal the most mysterious new character, Yamiraku, the man Zaraku revived from the huge demonic statue:



This is the first drawing I made of him. I pretty much like it. He looks very strong, but a little too serious. I want him to look laid-back and uncaring about things. He just looks too angry and serious. I might run with this. Not too sure...



The second drawing I made of him. He looks more calm and laid-back, but a little too much. He still should have a hint of evilness in him. I like this one more though. His hair was drawn much nicer in this one, although I totally messed up on his body.

Yamiraku's Bio:

Name: His name is derived from the japanese word "yami," which means "darkness."
Age: Unknown. But it is said that he has lived for thousands of years.
Height: 13'5"
Appearance: Long silver hair and pale grey eyes.
History: Yamiraku is responsible for the ancient "Dark Volume" a mysterious book that was written thousands of years ago. In this book, whatever was written in it in blood would happen in the future, as long as it was logical and able to happen. When, in the future, is unknown, since it is of a random fate. It is possible, however, to prevent whatever was written in the book. Yamiraku found the book and used it's power to spread darkness throughout the world. A great warrior fought Yamiraku and sealed his soul into a demon. The demon lived throughout the Demon Realm until one day Yamiraku's soul took over. On the day of the demon stone sealing, Yamiraku, along with the demon, was sealed into a great demonic statue. The last thing written in the book was "the corruption of pure human and spiritual souls." and that was written a thousand years ago. It still has yet to happen.

Update! Sorry for the long delay! All of the characters will be posted today! But for now, we take a look at the devious, clever man who leads Corruption.



Name: Michaelangelo DaVinni
Age: 38
Gender: Male
Appearance: Height- 6'1" Weight- 162 lbs Black hair, tall, thin body.
Likes: red wine, birds, collecting masks
Dislikes: society, politicians, clinics, and medicine.
Personality: cunning, cold-hearted, and concealed hatred.
Things he is good at: persuading others and influencing their opinion
Bio: Michaelangelo DaVinni, founder and leader of the organization, Corruption.
He has a great hatred for the world, and has a dark, troubled past that reflects
his hatred of society. He believes that human (and spiritual) society is corrupt,
and must be changed. He recently developed a mysterious satellite known as the
"X Satellite." Launched into space, it holds a great power.
Affiliation: Corruption
Notes: I named him after "Michaelangelo," one of the four Teenage Mutant Ninja
Turtles, and my favorite one. I felt the name just suited him. I argued between
whether or not his name should even be revealed in the series at all, but with his
look, I'm glad I chose this name. His name is very long so I expect Ken to come up
with a good nickname for him like he does for other characters. (Van still doesn't
like being called 'Afro Dude') ^_^

Another character revealed! The mysterious woman, Mavel!



Name: Mavel
Age: Unknown (It is believed that she has lived for thousands of years)
Gender: Female
Appearance: Height- 5'11" Weight- 140 lbs Long black hair wrapped into ponytail.
Exotic feathers clipped to her hair and wrists. Tall, petit body.
Likes: flames, wearing feathers, the color black
Dislikes: nets, windy days, and profanity
Personality: stern, but carefree. Very independent.
Things she is good at: disguising herself
Bio: Just who is this mysterious woman? And why does she share the same name
as the Great Black Phoenix, Mavel? Do the two have something in common? Find out
in Season 3!
Affiliation: N/A
Notes: I based her design off of "Yoruichi Shishoun" from "Bleach." I just found
her to be quite a cool and interesting character so I wanted to incorporate that
into her. I love how her drawing came out, especially her clothes. I was going
to make her look more exotic and alot more feathers on her body but I felt
that she would look too wierd. She would look like a person in a chicken costume!

Update! Today we focus on the cute, cheerful Kairi-chan and the ambitious Michelle.




Name: Kairi Shiriko (Likes to be called "Kairi-chan")
Age: (She's lived for over hundreds of years in the Spirit Realm though, but in
Earth years she'd be about 23.)
Gender: Female
Appearance: Height- 5'5" Weight- 158 lbs Dirty-blonde hair that flows to her shoulders,
average, petit body, although has great muscle shape.
Likes: peaches, boxing matches, snakes
Dislikes: tattooes, people who she feels are more powerful than her
Personality: cheerful, calm, playful
Things she is good at: dancing and gymnastics
Bio: Kairi-chan is the First Guardian of the Spirit Realm. She rarely likes
to be seen, so she is always in constant hiding. She loves training alone with her
trainee, Michelle, and bonding with her. Kairi recently developed a pair of high-tech
gloves that accelerate the cells in the body and strengthen body muscle, making her
body inhanced with super-strength. She loves to fight and loves rivaling with her friends.
Affiliation: Spirit Protection Agency (SPA) Titled as "The First Guardian"
Notes: She was originally going to look much older and her personality was going to be adapted
from "Tsunade" from Naruto. She was going to be more stern and devious, and using her looks as
her advantage. Also, she was going to be more bossy-like towards Ken and friends, but in the end
I decided to make her a bubbly, cheerful girl who loves to fight. The fact that she only likes
to be called "Kairi-chan" will be a joke throughout the series. Ken can't come up with a nickname
for her I bet!



Name: Michelle Rose
Age: 15
Gender: Female
Appearance: Height- 5'5" Weight- 134 lbs long black hair wrapped into a spiked
ponytail. short, but average body. somewhat muscular in the legs, waist, and arms.
Likes: ribbons, loose-fitting pants, horses
Dislikes: wearing skirts, the color pink, boys who gender-discriminate
Personality: tomboyish, mischeivous, and independent
Things she is good at: martial arts (she achieved blackbelt in only three weeks!
take that Kotaro!?)
Bio: The tomboyish-girl of the series. She hates alot of things that guys
consider "girly." So she does things most girls wouldn't seem to do, such as
play football and basketball. She's not afraid of anything and is somewhat
of a loudmouth. Michelle shall prove to be quite an interesting character to
the series. She's adventurous, daring, and brave.
She is under training by Kairi to become a Guardian.
Affiliation: Spirit Protection Agency (SPA) titled under "The Protector"
Notes: Her personality reflects three girls that were in my 8th-Grade class.
They too, were sort of tomboyish and loved playing sports with me and the
other guys in my class.
Personally, I respect girls like that. A girl who can prove that she can do
more than just "girly" things is a girl that I truly admire. I really respect women like that,
so I wanted a character who could show those characteristics and more. What Michelle's powers,
weapons, and abilities are shall remain secret until later! ^_^
