Since we didn't have one... I'll start one. Just discuss the anime and manga here. To keep you all up to date...

Anime:
- The crew recruits Franky and rerecruits Usopp.
- Next up is the Ace vs. Blackbeard fight.
- New theme song starts within the next few eppys as well as the Franky eye catch.
- A mini filler arc comes before Thriller Bark. It's about some ice bounty hunters.

Manga:
- The crew is still in Thriller Bark.
- Usopp defeats Perona, Zoro defeats Ryuuma, Sanji defeats Absolom, and Chopper and Robin take out Zoro and Sanji's shadow guys, Cindre, and Dr. Hogback.
- The crew [plus Brooke] fights Oz [Luffy's shadow beast] while Luffy fights Gekko Moria.
- Absolom apparently wasn't defeated and rekidnaps Nami.
- The crew gets defeated by Oz.

There you go... all up to date. New manga chapters comes out on Wendsdays and the new anime episodes comes out on Saturdays. So... I get the manga on Thursday and the anime on Sunday. I'll post weekly summarys here.

We sometimes get spoilers on Tuesday though.

I am loving he manga so far. Oz is wicked awesome. I wonder who will deal him the finishing blow. I'm betting on Brooke simply because the new crew member often takes out the number 2 guy.

I don't trust the Tuesday spoilers since Japan doesn't get the manga until Wendsday.

I'm not sure who will defeate Oz... well if Luffy defeats Moria then Oz will just redie and Luffy will get his shadow back. Then again, I'm not sure. Will Luffy defeat Moria? There's another shichibukai coming up in the Mer-arc, so... will Luffy really take down a shichibukai now and another this soon? Anyways, Nami hasn't had a fight yet in this arc, I bet she'll "wake up" and redefeat Absolom... or not, I'm not interested either way since I dislike Nami.

Is One Piece going at a faster pace now? Shichibukais fights seem to be showing up way more often, Ace's story ended, and Black Beard is targetting Luffy. So... yeah. There next location is Fishman island, where the merman shichibukai is. Or perhaps Blackbeard will find Luffy before they reach the island. Or maybe it'll be like Skypeia and the Strawhats will reach Fishman island before Blackbeard can get to them. Or maybe more about this whole "war" thing that was caused because of Ace's death.

Who knows... only time shall tell.

Tuesday Spoilers usually prove to be quite accurate.

I think they will take down Moria. Thriller Bark is moving at a faster pace now. But remember, We got a lot more to do. We got Elbaph, Fisman Island, and who knows what else. The WG Saga took over two years. Those arcs could very well take that long. TB has already taken most of 2007. So, it's not to unbelievable that Oda will allow Luffy to beat another shichibukai. Maybe he wants to start moving the story at a slightly faster pace.

I think Brooke will someone figure out a way to beat Oz and then Luffy will be there to get Moria. Also, didn't Moria say that simply beating him wasn't enough to make the shadows go back? He said that he had to give the command. So unless Luffy tricks him, they'd still have to deal with Oz even if Moria goes down. But I think that they'll take down Moria and Oz, Brooke will join and they'll go into another long and dull Fishman Island arc.

I predict that AFTER the fishman island arc, they'll quickly get into the second half of the Grand Line. It is there that we'll finally learn Ace's fate and Luffy may get a bounty increase again.(I think taking down Moria WILL get him a bounty increase, just not right away. I think Oda wants Luffy to take down two Shichibukai in a row, possibly to make the government believe that Luffy is trying to overthrow them. I mean first Enies Lobby, then 2 Shichibuksi?)

- Perona regains consiousness and runs for her life.
- Nami finally wakes up and redefeats Absolom.
- The Strawhats get back up and begin to fight Oz again.

Hmmmm, well, seems like Oda is trying to strech it just a tincy bit.

In addition to Brooke joining, I think that Perona may be joining as well. Of course, like EVERY female, she won't join for real until a future arc boss goes down(Probably will happen at Merman Island) and then she'll join for real. I dunno why but this theory has suddenly gotten extremely commonplace. What ya'll think?

A lot of people have been predicting that. Well... I don't have a problem with her joining, I think she's an interesting and funny character, like Brooke. But... what role on the crew would she play? Also her fighting skills are just those nega-hollows... which has a big flaw.

So... all in all, I doubt she'll join. But if she does, I wouldn't mind.

Well, perhaps she'd be either a spy, or maybe a messenger. Luffy always creates unique roles for the crew members. Technically, Robin serves no purpose in the crew really.

Plus, why have her wake up and have her go to the Sunny?

Plus, both previous females have been from a villain's crew.(Some people say that Nami could be considered part of Jinbei's crew and if Perona joins, Luffy would be collecting somebody from all the shichibukai crews. I dunno bout that thou)

If Perona DOES join, she'll probably leave again and Luffy will take out another boss before she joins perminetly.(That's how it works for them women right?)

Brooke will still join, but I think Oda could be planning to surprise us.

Usopp will probably say that he'll keep Perona in line so she doesn't try to take out the crew.

I think Thriller Bark will be destroyed and she'll be found as a stowaway on the boat after they set sail. Everyone will probably want to throw her over(thus killing her) and she'll probably plead for her life and Luffy will probably think of some moronic use for her on the crew, and she'll agree to join, at least for the time being. I think she'll run away at Merman island, and she'll somehow need saving from Jinbei. Luffy will take out Jinbei, and Perona will join for real.

or a Merman!!!!!!!



A Merman would be a good addition the the crew says this observer.

Like I said, I wouldn't mind Perona joining, but I doubt it. We'll have to wait and see. Robin is an archeologist, which is helpful.

As for a merman/maid joining... I dunno... EVERYONE expects it, so... I dunno... kinda too obvious.

Shooter- Usopp.
Chef- Sanji.
Doctor- Chopper.
Acheologist- Robin.
Shipwright- Franky.
Musician- Brooke.

You see... it's hard to say who the last person will be. I think it'll be like a photographer... you know, to take pictures of thier fights and stuff... kinda like Stoner from Eureka Seven. Or maybe a strategist... someone who helps plan battle formations. Or maybe even a tech. expert... someone who works with technology to benifit the crew.

That's my opinions...

Well, I'm sure there is a use we haven't thought of yet.

I dunno about a Merman joining. Might not be good. By next arc, we could see if Luffy is indeed taking a member from each of the shichbukai crew as someone theorized.

A picture has surfaced, of what appears to be the final panel of the upcoming OP Chapter, 472. If this panel is legit, then Oda has done it again. It's a very pleasant surprise that I don't think we saw coming.
