Episode 44: Integration Part 2

An Alexis-centric episode, but not past





Tess (Alexis's alter) continued to hold a gun to Valon's head. She said to him "You know, you're awfully brave for someone who is facing his death. I killed Alexis's brother, what makes you think that I wont kill you?" Valon replied, "I know Alexis, and I know that she would never kill me." Tess replied, "Oh please, that girl isn’t even in control. I’m tired of always taking the back seat to her, it’s my body too, and I will do with it what I please from here on. I’m not going to just let her take control of me for no apparent reason. I’m going to let you walk away from this, so I suggest you start saying your prayers, because I am not backing down.

Meanwhile, down in the apartments, Ryo was extra eager to give Sho a special Christmas. But he couldn’t find anything Christmassy and nobody wanted to help him. It was still early December but Christmas was coming fast. He had not had a true Christmas with Sho in almost 10 years. He wanted to finally do something for his brother. He blamed himself for Sho being kidnapped and being in a coma. Ryo decided that he would not rest until he could give Sho a special Christmas. He was convinced that maybe that would bring Sho out of his seemingly endless coma.

Ryo decided to ask Alister for help. He was one of the few people that Alister knew well enough to ask that was not that busy with other tasks. Alister laughed at his idea. He said, "We got a satanic cult aiming to kill us and you want to have a Christmas party. Sorry, but I fail to see how that’s a good idea. And what makes you think it would wake Sho up? Sorry man, but I think that our safety has to take top priority." Ryo replied, "Listen, I’m not going to let Ganner and his pathetic minions get to me, that would just be giving him his way. Maybe, if we took a stand more often, Ganner wouldn’t have so much power. Another thing, since Sho fell into his coma, I’ve had a lot of time to clear my head. I’ve been able to see things about this place, which I don’t think anybody has seen before. I sense a presence of good, which seems, just a bit, supernatural. Its like somebody else is watching over us, keeping Ganner from executing his plans. And I know, God always is with us no matter where we are, but I feel like God has placed a special guardian angel over us. Lets face it, Ganner wants us all dead very badly for some reason, but he hasn’t accomplished that yet. So that tells me that something is in his way, something that is as powerful as him. I sense that, and its those same senses, that tell me that Sho will wake up if I give him a Christmas, a Christmas with his Big Brother, that he hasn’t really known for quite some time. I remember, before I left, Christmas who Sho's favorite time of year, he actually dreaded Christmas day because than it would be all over after that. Even though he was very young, he loved the season, and everything about it. He loved going to Christmas Eve mass, going caroling, listening to music on the radio, and all the beautiful lights. I know I cant give him all of that again, but I want to try, so will you help me Alister?" Suddenly, a voice from behind them said, "Sure, I’m in" Ryo turned around and Aaron was standing there with Sam. They said "Trust me, by the end of the week, we'll get everyone to help you out Ryo, and while it probably wont be like the Christmases back home, it will still be good." Alister than said "Well, if you two are in, than so am I. Who knows, maybe a little happiness and cheer is just what we need to defeat Ganner, and if what Ryo said is true, and God has placed some sort of guardian angel here to protect us, than there is nothing that Ganner can do to get to us. Ok than, we got a Christmas to plan. I don’t know how we are going to do it, but we will." Ryo said "Thanks you guys, and I know, that if we work hard enough, that our cheer and love for Sho may bring him back to us." And so the four began their planning for the big day, which was coming up in just a few weeks.

Valon stared down Tess; he said nothing to her, for her could see that it would be futile. After about an hour of a standoff, he said "What'cha waiting for? I’m waiting for you to pull the trigger; you said that you want me gone, well than, kill me? Or is Alexis stopping you? Perhaps you are just too weak to kill me. Yeah, Ill bet that’s it, you are just too weak to kill me. So go ahead, take me out. I’m waiting, go ahead. DO IT." Tess just stood there. She couldn’t move. It was as if she was in a trance. Unknown to Valon, a battle was going on inside her mind. Alexis was fighting Tess for control of her body. Tess tried with all her might to get rid of Alexis once and for all, but Alexis’s love for Valon allowed her to destroy Tess. In a split second, she absorbed Tess, and took control of her life back. She integrated with Tess, and assumed her traits, but would maintain control over them. Tess's will vanished and her soul slashed, and she was never to been seen or heard from again. It was as if she had never existed. When Alexis regained consciousness, Valon could immediately tell. He ran over to her and called out her name and she responded "Yes Valon, its me, I’m back, and I’m never going any place, ever again." Valon kissed Alexis and said, "I’m glad to have you back now, this time for good." Than the two went back into the apartments to enjoy the rest of the night. Meanwhile, Ganner and Tyler made plans for their next attack. Tyler said, "So, I hear that they are planning some kind of Christmas Celebration, that would be the perfect time to take them all out." Ganner said, "No, we will let them have their Christmas celebration." Tyler asked "What? What are you thinking? That would be the perfect time to get them." Ganner replied "You know as well as I do that he will be extra strong at that time, strong enough to keep us out. So we will let them have their fun, and than after the season of ends, we will put our real plan into action, and show them what we can really do." EXTERMINATION TO BE CONTINUED...
