Here's the season premiere of Guardian!

Chapter 27: Moving Forward

"Guardian Barrier!" a distant voice yelled. A bright, light-screened barrier formed around the figure. Suddenly, another man jumped into the air and swung a huge sword down towards the barrier. The barrier forced back the attack, and the man was knocked over to the ground. "Very good, Ken." the man said. It was Hiro, and he had swung his HeavyBlade against Ken's barrier, "Your able to hold up the barrier very well. I guess all of this training has paid off." Ken and Hiro were at a open field, and it was very foggy out. "Yeah, it's great to train here in the Spirit Realm. The air is so fresh! And the gravity here is much weaker." Ken said with excitement. It was early in the afternoon, and Ken and Hiro were undergoing a training session. "Let's take a break." Ken suggested, lying down on the grass. "But you haven't even broke a sweat." Hiro said with a laugh. "Shutup!" Ken said playfully.

"Hiro, Ken, long time no see." a figure said as he approached the two. It was Kotaro, and he had a folder in his hand. "Hey Kotaro. What's up?" Hiro asked. "Nice to see ya again, Kota!" Ken exclaimed. "Don't call me that. Anyway, I need to ask you two a favor." Kotaro stated. "What is it?" Hiro asked. "I still haven't chosen someone on Earth to train to become a Guardian. The Spirit Protection Agency is getting on me about it, so will you guys help me find someone?" Kotaro asked. "Sure, I guess. Good thing the Spirit Portal is operational now." Ken stated. "I know. It's been like, five months since that incident huh?" Kotaro said. "Yeah, and there hasn't been much demon activity on Earth. I guess Zaraku has been keeping himself quiet." Hiro replied. "We still can't be too hasty. Zaraku is probably hiding, planning something." Kotaro suggested. "Yeah, but anyway, let's go to Earth then. I'm getting bored here." Ken said. He was still in his school clothes, since he immediately came to the Spirit Realm afterschool. "Alright then. Let's get going." Hiro stated, and the three left towards the Spirit Portal.

Meanwhile...back on Earth...

"Are you okay, mom?" a boy asked. He and his mother were in the dark, cold basement of their home. They were close together, under old boxes, clothes, and other items. "Yes, I'm fine. Just be quiet, and they won't find us. Maybe they'll leave us alone." the woman whispered. 'Someone help...' the boy thought to himself.

Chapter 28: Two Hours Earlier...

"Yaaawwwnn. Hey mom, what are you doing?" said a small child. He was sitting in the living room of his home, and his mother was at her computer desk, analyzing a strange stone. "I'm just researching what this rock is, Novan." the woman said with a gentle smile. "Maybe it's a moon rock from space!" Novan said happily. "No, I don't think it's that. This is quite an extraordinary rock. It isn't classified under any mineral on Earth so far, and it has this strange pattern carved unto it. You have a great interest in outer space, don't you?" the woman said, laughing. "Yes! But I want to be in the army one day, just like father, and protect our country!" Novan replied. "Well, I'm sure you will, but be careful." his mother stated. Just then, a huge crash came through the living room wall. Novan and his mother were knocked back from the blast. Dust and debris were everywhere. "Ack! What was that?" Novan said, coughing heavily. "Novan, stay close." the woman commanded, as she held Novan behind her.

Two young men appeared, and there was a wolf-like demon behind them. "You are Naomi Yoromaji, geologist at the Japanese Institute of Geology, correct?" the first man replied. He was wearing a black mask that covered his eyes. He had a black hood on, and a purple tunic. "What do you want?" Naomi replied. "We want that stone that you've recently found. It interests us greatly." the second man said. He also wore a black mask around his eyes, and had long, silver spiky hair. "Well, that stone has a great interest to me to, so I believe I deserve to keep it." Naomi said. "I didn't ask for your comments!!!" the first man said as a wave of energy pulsed from his hand and hit Naomi, forcing her back. "Mother!!!" Novan cried worringly.

"No one has to get hurt. Just give us the stone, and we'll be leaving." the man said. The wolf behind them began to growl feriociously. "You'll be leaving either way! Hyaaah!" Naomi yelled, as she quickly got back up, picked up Novan, and ran out of the house. "After them, wolf!" the second man said, and the demon wolf began to chase after them. It was noon, and Novan and Naomi had ran out of the house towards the backyard and she quickly opened a trapdoor in the grass. They both hesitantly crawled down the trapdoor and entered what appeared to be a basement. "We'll be safe here." Naomi said. "Mother, what's going on? I'm scared!" Novan cried. "I don't know, son. Just stay quiet, or else they'll find us." she said.

Chapter 29: The Mysterious Demon Stone

Meanwhile...back at Kurokari Town...

"Ah, great to be back home." Ken said. They had just gotten out of the demon portal, and Ken was ready to go home. "When I get home, I want a nice plate of teriyaki chicken and rice, just like my mom makes it!" Ken exclaimed while rubbing his stomach. He was famished, since they hadn't eaten much in the morning. "Well then, you should get on home. I'll go with Kotaro and help him. We'll meet up with you tomorrow, okay?" Hiro explained. "Yeah, sure, that'd be great," Ken replied, "See ya later!" Ken said, as he rushed back home.

"Ken seems alot happier than when I first met him." Hiro said. "Really? That's strange, never thought that Ken would ever be lonely." Kotaro replied. "Ken seemed sad. He didn't like going to school, and he didn't want to be friends with anyone. He even treated that girlfriend of his unfriendly. But now, I think he's changed." Hiro explained. "That's great. Anyway, wonder who I should choose. I can't just have any slack-off like Ken. I need a true warrior, a person with discipline. Someone who will obey my authority, and train recklessly everyday." Kotaro stated. "Well, you could find someone like that in the military. T_T" Hiro said.

Meanwhile...back at the Yoromaji house...

"Are they gone yet? It's dark in here." Novan whined. "Ssssh!!! Don't let them find us." Naomi said. "What's with that stone anyway?" Novan asked. "I don't know..." Naomi said, and she flashbacked to three weeks ago, when she first found the stone...

"Hey everyone! I think I found something!" Naomi said. She was at an ancient archaeological dig site in Japan, far in the desert. She was accompanied by a team of expert scientists and geologists. "What is it?" one of the scientists asked. "This stone is quite strange. It looks about 1000 years old, and it has strange carving patterns on it." she explained. "Well, should we bring it back to the lab?" a geologist suggested. "If you don't mind, I'd rather take this artifact back home, to my own office. I think a more personal analyzation of this is necessary." Naomi said. "Well, I have no problem with that. It's settled, Dr. Yoromaji, you may take this stone with you for a monthly period. After that, I'd like it to be transfered back to the lab for more a more detailed analysis." Dr. Kojiro, a world-renowned geologist, explained. "Thank you doctor. I won't let you down." Naomi said...

"Hey. I think they're gone." Novan said. "Huh? OH! Well, I guess we could just take a peek to see if it's safe." Naomi said. They both got up and climbed the stairs out of the basement. They were back in the backyard. There wasn't a sign of anyone around, or in the house, so the two decided to go back into the house. No one was there, but the living room was a mess, like a tornado had gone through it. "Ugghh...look at this mess." Naomi said with a sigh. "I really feel sorry for the poor sap that has to clean this up." Novan said with a smile. "Go to your room! WE will be cleaning this up lat-" and Naomi paused, "NO! Where is it?! It's gone!!!" she exclaimed. "What? What's gone!?" Novan asked. "The stone! It's disappeared! Those crooks must have taken it!" Naomi yelled with frustration.

Back at Kurokari Town...

"I like walking around this town. It's so peaceful." Hiro stated. "Hiro, stop. I sense a disturbance..." Kotaro said with a serious look on his face. Suddenly, a huge rumble began to shake underneath the earth. It was like an earthquake, the ground was shaking. The people in the town began to panic. They ran around like crazy. Suddenly, a huge statue began to slowly arise from under the ground. It caused the earth to crack, and the ground to shake. "What's going on!?" Hiro said. "I have a bad feeling about this..." Kotaro said.

I don't know...it's good writing...just...I can't get attached to it. I don't know why...

Maybe you just don't understand what's going on. This is the second season of this series, so you should read the first chapter in season one, then maybe you'll understand it better.

Chapter 30: Awaken

The statue began to stop. It must have been over 300 feet tall! The statue resembled the face of a human, but it was shaped quite oddly. Suddenly, the two mysterious men stood atop the statue. "Who are you two and what's going on!?" Kotaro shouted. "Nothing, this statue is just going to awaken, that's all." the mysterious man said. "Zaraku, Andrew, I should have known..." Hiro stated. "Sorry, but your wrong. I don't even know who that is." the man said. He wore a mask, but had long silver hair. "You two are Guardians, aren't you? I can tell by your clothing. I'd suggest you leave right now or else you'll face death right now." the second man said. "No, that's okay. My sword hasn't been getting much action anyway!" Hiro yelled as he quickly pulled out his HeavyBlade and jumped into the air. He swung the sword down towards the statue, but it didn't even leave a scratch. 'What is this thing?" Hiro thought to himself. "Since you want to fight so badly, I don't want to ruin your fun." the second man said, as he pulled out two demon stones from his pocket. He dropped them both to the ground and they broke.

"NO! Not here! There are innocent civilians here!" Kotaro yelled. "Well, if you guys are really Guardians, then you can protect them all right? See ya later!" the two men said and they both disappeared in a cloud of smoke. "Kotaro, stay alert. Look!" Hiro said as he pointed out to the demon stones. Two bat-like demons came out of the stones. "Hmph, what pathetic creatures, I'll end this right now." Kotaro said, as he held his sword out. Kotaro flashed in an instant and suddenly the first bat demon was on the ground bleeding. The demon dissolved into the air, and with it, the stone. "Whoa, you've achieved that level of speed with your blade now? Amazing..." Hiro said. "Yes, now I'll let you finish off the other one." Kotaro replied. Suddenly, two people were running towards the area where the stone is...

"Mom, where are we going?!" Novan asked. "That statue right there looks just like the carving on the stone that got stolen from me. I must check this out!" Naomi replied. "NO! You two, leave now. It's too dangerous!" Kotaro yelled. "Huh?" Novan replied. The bat demon swiftly flew towards Naomi and grabbed her with its legs. The demon flew back into the air, with Naomi captured. "Mom!!!" Novan cried. "Darn, I can't hit the thing if that woman's in the way." Hiro said. "What's going on? What is that thing? WHO ARE YOU PEOPLE!?" Novan questioned in fear. "Kid, just stay back. We will handle this." Kotaro said. The bat demon started to fly away. "Get back here!" Kotaro yelled. "No, let me catch up to the bat. I'm fast enough to get it. You stay here and watch the kid." Hiro commanded, and he went in pursuit of the demon. The boy looked at Kotaro frightengly. His body began to shiver. "Kid, there's nothing to be scared of. I'm a Guardian, and I'm here to protect you." Kotaro said. "Guardian?" the boy asked. "I'll explain later. Meanwhile, just sit back here and relax." Kotaro said. Meanwhile, Hiro was still in chase of the demon...

You had better not wait another 2 weeks to post the next episode, this is Sweeps worthy alright, and Id really enjoy it if you got another 3 or so episodes in by the time the Sweeps ends.

Chapter 31: Awaken (Part 2)

Hiro gave steady chase of the demon. He had to make sure that the woman did not suffer any casualties. The bat demon noticed Hiro and began to ascend higher into the air. 'Darn...I think I might need to spread my wings also.' Hiro thought to himself. Hiro stopped in his tracks, and he closed his eyes and began to focus all of his energy. Suddenly, he flashed in a bright light, and moments later he was in his Guardian Light Form. 'I can't manage this form for long, so I must hurry.' Hiro thought, as he gently flew into the air and rushed towards the demon.

Meanwhile, the huge statue just stood there. It didn't give off any energy either. The panic soon stopped as the civilians started to gather around the statue. They were now amazed by it, and even started taking pictures. 'These people.....they're so wierd...' Kotaro thought to himself. "Hey mister, will my mom be okay?" Novan asked. "Of course she will." Kotaro said, "Hey, let's go find Hiro. He's taking too long." Novan shivered in fear of the fact of seeing that demon again, but he agreed, and Kotaro put Novan on his back. "Hold on kid." Kotaro said, and he dashed swiftly down the road.

Hiro flew swiftly and stealthly in the air. He tried to paralyze the demon using an electric shock, but it would also harm Naomi. The bat demon turned around and gave a loud screech that could pierce through a person's eardrum. Hiro's ears began to bleed, and he was in deep pain. He fell back to the ground, and he retracted back to his original form. His wings were gone. "Come on Hiro! I can't rely on you for anything huh?" Kotaro said as he leaped over Hiro and chased after the demon.
"Waaaaah!!!" Novan said as he held on tightly to Kotaro. "Mister, you go faster than the Nitro roller coaster!" Kotaro turned around,"My name is Kotaro, kid!" he said. "AND MY NAME IS NOVAN!! NOVAN!!" Novan yelled.

The bat demon couldn't outrun Kotaro. Kotaro quickly held out his sword for the strike, but the demon held out Naomi in front of it. "Mom!" Novan cried, "Kotaro, there has to be some way to save her without hurting her!" Naomi was unconscious at the moment. She was extermely frightned, and to make it worse she was afraid of heights. "I know, Novan. I just need something to stop that demon." Kotaro replied. Novan suddenly had an idea. He pulled out the yo-yo that was in his pocket and launched it at the bat demon. The demon's leg was caught by the yo-yo string, and the demon fell. Kotaro was in complete shock. "Yes! I got him!" Novan said happily, as Kotaro stopped. They quickly approached the demon. Naomi fell a distance away from the demon, and Kotaro pulled out his sword. "Oh, wait Novan. Close your eyes. You're too young to see this." Kotaro said, as he sliced the demon in half. "Ahhhh!!!! Ewwww!!!" Novan cried. "I TOLD YOU NOT TO LOOK!!!" Kotaro exclaimed.

Meanwhile...

"So, the two demons we released have failed huh?" the mysterious man said. "Yes, I believe so. No matter, we will handle those two Guardians." the second man said, and they both disappeared in a cloud of smoke.

Novan's mother was still asleep. Novan looked at her with worry. "Don't worry, she'll be fine. She just needs to rest, that's all." Kotaro explained. "Thank you, Kotaro! Your so cool! But what are you? And what's going on?" Novan questioned. "I'll explain later. But Novan, what was that amazing weapon you used?" Kotaro asked. "You mean this?" Novan said, as he showed him the toy, "It's just a yo-yo, Kotaro." Kotaro looked at it curiously. "This weapon is crafted well, what is a child like you doing with such a dangerous thing? Hmmm..." Kotaro asked. 'T_T It's just a toy...' Novan thought to himself.

"So, you two managed to stop the demons, but what about your friend here?" the mysterious men said as they held another man in their hands. "Hiro!" Kotaro shouted, "What have you done to him!?" Novan pulled out his yo-yo. "You guys.....you're the ones who caused all of this, and what my mother went through. You were the ones that robbed my house! You'll pay!!!" Novan shouted in anger. "Calm down, kid, we're only doing what is right. Besides, the organization sent us." the man explained. "What organization?" Kotaro asked. "I'm sorry, I said too much. And take your pathetic friend, he weighs a ton!" he said as he threw Hiro at Kotaro. Hiro's ears were still bleeding from the screeched sound. He felt very fatigued, and he was unconscious. "You two! Right here, you die!" Kotaro said, as he pulled out his sword.

"No!" Novan said as he held down Kotaro's blade. "I'll fight them..." Novan said in anger as he pulled out his yo-yo. Novan's yo-yo began to glow, and a burst of light surrounded him. "Novan..." Kotaro whispered.

Chapter 32: Awaken (Part 3)

Sharp razor-like blades began to form in the middle of Novan's yoyo. 'What is this? I'm sensing....spirit energy....from..NOVAN?!" Kotaro thought to himself. He was in quite a shock. "Novan, calm down. I'll handle these two." Kotaro said. "No! They hurt Mom, and they're gonna pay!" Novan exclaimed in anger. He charged towards the two men and launched his yo-yo at them. The razor blades in them were spinning rapidly, so rapidly that it could cut through metal. The two men quickly dodged Novan's attack and went from behind and kicked him. "Foolish child, do you really think you can defeat us?" the mysterious man said. Novan got back up and charged at them again, this time he tackled the second man down to the ground. The man quickly grabbed Novan and threw him to the ground. "Ahhh!" Novan cried in pain.

"Novan! Stay back! You can't defeat them!" Kotaro said. Kotaro held out his SpeedBlade, and he disappeared in a flash. He was behind the man, and he swung his sword, but the man dodged it. "Not fast enough..." he mumbled, as he turned around and roundhouse-kicked Kotaro. Kotaro got back up and began to chant a spell, "Guardian Element: Wind: Air Cutting Blade" and Kotaro's sword began to glow. He swung the sword and a slash of wind was shot towards the mysterious men. They put their hands out and they formed a barrier around them that deflected it.

'Darn it....what now? They can match my speed, and my power...who are they!?' Kotaro thought. Novan hesitantly got back up. "I will protect you mother, just watch!" Novan yelled. An enormous aura of spiritual energy began to surround him. His yo-yo began to glow again. He swung the yo-yo horizontally to the ground and a huge shockwave formed. The two men were blasted head on by the attack, and they fell to the ground.

'Novan...' Kotaro thought to himself. "Who is this kid? Is he one of the Guardians!?" the second man said. "We've been here for too long. Time to get back to the organization." the other man said. "Freeze!" Kotaro said, as he ran in a flash to the second man and slashed him with his sword. He was cut in the chest, and he fell to the ground. "Your next, but before I kill you, what is this 'organization' of yours?" Kotaro asked seriously. "That's none of your business, now leave or else I'll-" the man said, and quickly Kotaro focused a huge amount of electrical energy into his hand and jabbed it at the man, instantly killing him.

"Mom! Mom! Are you okay?" Novan said, as he shook her. She was still lying on the ground, unconscious.

"She'll be fine." Kotaro said, "Hiro will too. Let's just go home." Kotaro put both Hiro and Naomi on his back, held Novan by his arm, and he sped off swiftly towards Novan's house.

Meanwhile...

"Man, where's Hiro and Kotaro? They've been gone forever." Ken said, as he popped open a can of Sprite. Suddenly, an owl came flying through Ken's bedroom window. "Aaahh!!! Who are you!!?" Ken yelled in fright. The owl had a letter in it's beak. It handed the letter to Ken, and it flew back out of the house. "What the heck is this?" Ken said, as he opened the letter:

Dear, Ken Hayashi

You have been officially invited to the Spirit Festival, set to be held in the Realm of Flames, another region that resides in the Spirit Realm. The spirit portal of your world is now set to automatically take you to the Realm of Flames. I await to see you soon, Protector and apprentice of Hiro, Third Guardian of the Spirit Realm.

Sincerly,
Enzan, Guardian of Flames.

"Hmmm...a spirit festival? Sounds cool! I'm going right now!" Ken said. Ken's mother was away at work, but Ken had already explained to her about the whole Guardian thing. She doesn't fully understand it, but she trusts him. Ken packed his things into a bookbag, and got ready to go. "Better leave a note for mom and Hiro." Ken said.

As he left towards the Spirit Portal, he felt that someone was following him. Ken went to the field far away from his house, and there was the portal. As he approached it, a mysterious figure ran towards him. "So this is what you're doing!!! Ken!!" the figure said. "Huh?" Ken said. The person jumped at Ken and both of them fell through the portal.

"Aaaaahhhhhh!!!" Ken yelled. They were falling quickly through what seemed to be an endless, bottomless pit. Moments later, they exited the portal and they were in a small field just miles away from a small village. "Who the heck are you!?" Ken yelled. "Hi Ken!" the mysterious person said as she smiled. "K-Kk-KATE!?!? WHAT!!?!?!" Ken exclaimed in total awe.
