Naetoru- Turtwig [turtle and twig].
Hikozaru- Chimchar [chimp and charred].
Pocchama- Pochama!!!!
Mimimoru- Buneary [no idea...]
Nyaruma- Glameow [glamerous and meow].
Masukippa- Carnivine [carnivore and vine].
Bippa- Beappa [pronounced the same but spelled differently].
Pinpuku- Happini [happy and... something].
Mukkuru- Starly [star... **** I liked his Japanese name, Mukkuru is a fun word to say].
Floatzel- Floatsel.
Pachirisu- Pachirisu.
Buoysel- Buizel [pronounced the same way].
Tamanta- Mantyke [manatie and tyke].
Diaruga- Dialga.
Parukia- Palkia.
Perap- Chatot [chat and parrot].
Manaphy- Manaphy.
Elekible- Electivire [no idea...].
Koroboshi- Kricketot [cricket...].
Korinku- Spinx [okay...].
Tatetopusu- Shieldon [shield and don].

Its still unconfirmed. Neither name is confirmed 100%. Piplup sounds stupid.

I sure hope that Piplup isn't the name. 'Cause the name 'Piplup' is gay.

Sounds like someone's on drugs, some of these names sound even more ridiculous to the English language than the Japanese ones did.

No, I like it actually. I just saw it a while before I saw screenshots of Diamond and Pearl, and I was always curious as to how those came to be.
