Episode 63:Daddy’s Little Girl

Sho asked, “What do you mean that Ganner is your father?” Bella said, “Do I need to explain it further? Fine, Ganner, he raped my mother, and here I am.” Sho replied, “Ah that’s ok. So why did you come out with this now?” Bella said, “I needed to tell somebody. So now you know. And once he knows, I’m dead. So I might as well just die now.” Sho said, “No, I will not let you die. You can take that to the bank.” Bella asked, “What? You don’t care that I’m his spawn?” Sho said, “No, I don’t.” Bella replied, “That’s funny. Nobody has ever really given a **** about me. I thought Jaden did, but he didn’t.” Sho asked Bella, “So, how did you know about this sickness?” Bella said, “well, I overheard him discussing it with Tyler one day. He told him that he would inject it into the air, and that many people would die. But he said that there would be a cure. I thought that Ed, being on Ganner’s list of people that he wanted brought here, would be able to do it. But it looks like I was wrong.” Suddenly, Bella remembered something. She said, “Oh my gosh, I think I might have just figured out where the cure is.”

BELLA FLASHBACK

Bella was born to a kind woman named Beverly. She was named for her maternal grandmother. However, when Bella was 6, her father, Ganner returned into her life. Her mother had taken her as a baby to get her away from her father, but Ganner found her. Beverly refused to let Ganner take her daughter, so Ganner snapped her neck and kidnapped Bella. She was raised in his cult, and taught to have no compassion. But she never loved her father, and never enjoyed his work. Every chance she got; she tried to foil his plans. She went along with them to stay alive. She overheard all of what Ganner planned to do, but was rarely able to alter the effects of his plan. However, one night, after overhearing more of her father’s plan to start the epidemic, she had a weird dream. A man appeared to her. Her said that he was her uncle, and that his name was Kale. She asked him, “I never knew I had an uncle.” Kale said to her, “Well, you wouldn’t, I died before you were born. Now, I am going to tell you something very important. When you wake up, you will not remember this, but you will down the road a few years. Ganner is planning on releasing a deadly sickness. But, in case it gets out of hand, he has a cure. He has hidden it in a chamber under the ground, a hidden room. It is buried in the room somewhere, it is not something you will find out in the open.” Bella asked, “Why are you telling me this?” Kale replied, “Because eventually, you will get sick. I will keep you as healthy as possible so you can find this vile. You will not remember this for years to come Bella, but when you do, it is imperative that you find the vials containing the cure as soon as possible.” When Bella woke up the next day, her dream was totally forgotten.

END OF FLASHBACK

Bella said, “I remember now, I remember everything. That dream, I remember it.” Bella than explain everything to Sho. Two began looking around the room, hopeful of finding something, anything that could lead them to the cure. Ed said to them, “You guys are fools if you are going to trust a dream.” Claire had been stabilized, but she was still sick. Brier and Aaron were at death’s door. Bella and Sho searched for hours, and were about to give up, when they came across a loose tile in the corner of the room. Sho removed it, and under it was a box. Sho reached in and pulled out the box. They opened it, and numerous different vials were inside, with an odd clear liquid. Bella said, “This is it, I know it is.” Ed said, “Oh yeah right. We just happen to find a bunch of vials that will magically cure this disease. Feel free to ***** yourself with those, but don’t come anywhere near my patients with them. Sho got up and said, “Hey, this could be the very the thing that helps us. Do you want us all to die?” Ed said, “No, I'm just being realistic.” Suddenly, Sho coughed up blood and collapsed. Bella and Ed both ran over to him. Bella said, “No, he’s infected too. Ed, we have to at least try the vaccine.” Ed said, “Sorry little miss, but I simply won’t allow it.” Ed picked up Sho and moved him with the rest of his patients. Bella picked up on of the vials. She wondered, was this really a cure? There were instructions in the box, so she took them out and read them. Bella did as she was told, and injected herself in her arm. Ed looked on as she did it. Ed knew inside that the drugs were his only hope to heal the patients, and gave into Bella’s wished. He said to Bella, “I’m holding you responsible for anything that goes wrong with these things, understand?” Bella replied, “Understood clearly.” Ed injected each one of the patients with the vaccine. Little did Bella know, there was a catch to this cure. It was in small print on the instructions. It said, “Warning. This vaccine is only 50 percent effective. It may cause a seizure which may cause the death of the patient.” EXTERMINATION TO BE CONTINUED…
