Billy Episode 10: The Stage is Set

The next morning, Billy, Tory, and Kane were up bright and early. Trevor was too tired to wake up early.

Tory asked Billy, “Should I pounce on him? He shouldn’t be sleeping in.”

Billy said, “No, let him sleep. After killing Dr. Carmen yesterday, I think he deserves a rest.”

Kane said, “Yeah, just let him sleep.”

Tory said, “Well, he’s always up early anyway, guess it finally caught up with him.”

Billy said to Tory, “Hey, I got some errands to run. How bout you come with me?”

Tory said, “Nah, I think I’ll hang out here.”

Billy replied, “I think it would be best if you come with me.”

Tory finally agreed.

He said, “Alright, fine, if you really want to.”

Billy said to Kane, “Hey don’t go anywhere man, and don’t let Trevor go anywhere when he wakes up.”

Kane asked, “Why is that?”

Billy said, “Don’t argue with me, you just make sure that you both stay in this motel.”

Kane said, “Um, ok, fine.”

Billy and Tory then left leaving Kane and Trevor alone in the motel suite.

Eventually, Kane dozed off from boredom.

About thirty minutes later, Tory woke up. Kane was still asleep and he didn’t see Tory and Billy. Tory took off his clothes and went into the bathroom. He stepped into the shower and turned on the water, which woke Kane up.

Kane said to himself, “I guess he’s up.”

About ten minutes later, Trevor came out of the bathroom, dripping wet, with a towel in his hands. He laid the towel on the bed.

Kane said, “Hey dude, what’s the deal?”

Trevor turned around and asked, “What do you mean?”

Kane replied, “You just come in here stark naked and think nothing of it?”

Trevor said, “Yeah, why do you have a problem with that?”

“Um, not really I just don’t really like seeing your genitals, that’s all.”

“Dude, it’s just my *****. It’s no different then yours.”

“Well no, but I don’t go around letting other people see mine. Aren’t you at all uncomfortable going around with it all exposed?”

Trevor replied, “I used to be, but then I learned to not care.”

Kane asked, “Oh and why is that?”

“Dude, I went to public school. We got naked in front of each other on a daily basis. It’s probably why Tory and I are the only kids from our class that are still virgins.”

Kane said, “That’s disturbing. Now would you cover up already?”

Trevor said, “Fine, don’t have a puppy man.”

Trevor put on his boxers and finished getting dressed.

When he was again fully clothed, he sat down on a chair in the room.

He asked Kane, “So, um, where are Billy and Tory anyway?”

Kane replied, “Billy rushed out of her about half an hour before you woke up and took Tory with him. He made me promise that we’d both stay here. He sounded kind of anxious.”

Trevor said, “Must be something, I just hope he knows what he’s doing.”

Billy and Tory walked in a nearby park. Billy told Tory about some thoughts that had been going through his mind about the mystery caller that had contacted them after the death of Dr. Carmen.

He said that he thinks that Dr. Carmen was a puppet for this guy and that he was the true enemy.

Tory asked, “So what do we plan to do about this? This guy seems to be clever, very clever, and he seems to cover his tracks well.”

Billy said, “I think that this is personal. I just wish that I could figure out just what it is he has against me. But then again, I don’t even know where to find him, or even who he is.”

Tory said, “If he wants to kill us, he’ll know where to find us, but we have no clue as to where he is. That can end up being a very big problem.”

“I’ll find him. Mark my words, I will find him. Tory, I want you to stay behind though and keep Trevor away from this.”

“Why? Trevor is gonna want a piece of him too.”

“He’ll know that Trevor and I are the closest of our group. He’ll go after him more. I don’t want him to end up like John and Tyler.”

“Trevor can take care of himself, he’s the one who took down Dr. Carmen if you remember.”

“I don’t want him to try it with this guy, I have a bad feeling about him. I don’t want Trevor to end up dead, so I’m going to need you to make sure that he is kept away from where the action is.”

“Ok, I’ll do my best but I can’t promise anything. When Trevor decides something, it’s pretty hard to change his mind.”

Billy and Tory decided to head back to the motel.

When Billy and Tory went in to the motel, they didn’t see Trevor or Kane. They looked around the entire hotel but they saw no trace of them.

Tory said, “Maybe they went out.”

Billy said, “I specifically told them to stay here. Where could they have gone?”

Tory replied, “Maybe they went out looking for us. Trevor was never one to obey orders.”

Suddenly, the hotel’s phone rang.

Billy answered it. He said, “Trevor, is that you?”

The voice on the other end said, “Not exactly.”

Billy responded, “You, what do you want?”

The voice said, “I have a name you know, you may call me Brent Hampton.”

“Hampton? That’s my last name.”

“My oh my, aren’t we observant!”

“Who are you?”

“That is irrelevant. But I will say that I have your friends, Trevor and Kane with me. I also happen to have someone else, your father. So if you don’t want all of them to end up with bullets in them, I suggest you come to me, with Tory of course.”

Billy asked, “Where do you want me to meet you?”

Brent responded, “How bout we meet at your house Billy? It would be oh so fitting.”

“You’re scum, you know that?”

“I know that well. But you are not at all in the position to be insulting me. Not when I can end any of their pathetic lives with just a pull of the trigger.”

Billy said, “Don’t hurt any of them. I’m coming. And they had better be alive when I get there, or I will unleash a hell on you unlike any you have ever known before.”

Brent responded, “I make the terms here Billy, not you.”

He hung up the phone.

Billy said to Tory, “He has them, we have to go and find them, and we have to do it quickly. He’s going to kill them if we don’t.”

Tory asked, “Alright, then let’s go.”

Billy said, “He has my last name. I knew that this was personal, but I don’t think I could understand just how personal.”

Billy took two guns out from the drawer and handed two more to Tory.

Billy said, “Tory, this is it. After this, we’ll either be free, or we’ll be dead. Are you ready?”

Tory replied, “I’m ready to do this. Let’s go.”

They left the hotel and prepared to head to Billy’s home.


Billy Episode 11: The Final Battlegrounds

Billy and Tory arrived at Billy’s old house as quickly as possible.

On the front lawn was the dead body of Billy’s father. Billy ran over to him and kneeled down. He felt a sorrow within him but his concern for Trevor didn’t allow him to dwell on it too long.

Tory asked Billy, “Is that?”

Billy interrupted, “Yeah, it is, not let’s move on.”

Tory asked, “What if Trevor and Kane are already dead?”

Billy said, “They’re not. He killed my father because of something personal. He won’t kill Trevor and Kane; at least not yet; it’d be too easy. He wants me to suffer.

Billy and Tory quickly ran into the house. Everything was order. The house was quite large so there were many places that he could look, too many.

Tory asked, “So do you think we should split up?”

Billy replied, “No, I can do fine on my own but you’d be dead within a few minutes. Something tells me that this guy means business and has the skills to back up his threats.”

The two continued on searching the first floor. They didn’t find anything that was out of place.

Billy said, “They have to be here somewhere.”

Tory said, “Maybe this is all a trap or a trick to give you false hope.”

“No, it isn’t. They’re here. I just know it.”

“Well let’s hope your right.”

Little did the two know, Kane and Trevor had been drugged, and they were locked in a small room upstairs. Kane and Trevor soon awoke. They turned on a light only to find that they were trapped. They tried unlocking the door but they had no luck. It soon sunk in that they wouldn’t be getting out of there any time soon.

When they didn’t find anything on the ground floor, Tory decided that it would be best to check upstairs. When the opportunity presented itself, Tory darted up the stairs. Billy tried to stop him but did not have any luck. Billy still felt that there was something more on the ground floor, so he did not follow Tory.

Billy continued to look around. He eventually came to a room off to the side. It was very secluded and easily overlooked. Billy went into the room. It was an office, which overlooked a large back yard, which had a large swimming pool. There was a desk near the window. Billy walked over to the desk. It was very neat a tidy.

Billy said to himself, “Something’s in this room. But what is it? What am I supposed to find here?”

A voice behind him said, “I believe that would be me.”

Billy turned around and saw a young man standing before him.

Billy recognized the voice as the one on the phone.

He said, “So it’s you. I’m finally face to face with the true culprit. The man behind all the deaths.”

Brent said, “That’s me. And finally I get to meet you young Billy. I’ve been waiting for this day for a long time.”

Billy said, “Now tell me, why have you done everything that you have done?”

Brent replied, “You’ll know my reasons in due time.”

Billy said, “I deserve to know now.”

Brent replied, “You’ll know before I kill you. And mark my words, by the end of the day, you will be dead.”

The tension was thick enough to cut through between the two.

Billy said, “So what happens now?”


Brent said, “Well, I guess we had better both sit down. Before you die I guess it is only fair to inform you as to why you must die.”

Billy and Brent both pulled up a chair and sat down.

Meanwhile, upstairs, Tory eventually found the room that Kane and Trevor were trapped in. He kicked open the door and let them out.

Trevor and Kane were thankful to be free.

They all decided to split up again to try to make it harder for them all to be recaptured.

Tory called out to Trevor. He said, “Be safe man. I don’t want to lose any more friends.”

Trevor replied, “What else man? Be careful yourself.”

And with that, they all parted ways for the time being. Kane stayed upstairs while Trevor went up higher to the attic. Tory went downstairs.

When Tory got downstairs, he didn’t see anything changed since he had snuck upstairs.

What bothered him was that Billy was nowhere to be found. Tory wondered if Billy had been captured.

Nothing was happening and that worried Tory. So he kept his guard up. The terror of this final conflict brought back memories of John and Tyler and how excited they would have been. Tory shed a small tear in memory of his friends. Tory sat down on the couch, wondering what to do next.

In the office, Billy was awaiting the answers that Brent was to provide to him.

Brent said, “You really do have no clue as to why I despise you so much do you?”


Billy replied, “It’s not like you left any clues lying around.”

Brent said, “Well, I guess I wanted you to find out the entire truth on the day that you were to die.”

Billy responded, “Then let me know this “truth.”

“All in due time Billy. All in due time.”

“Why are you stalling?”

“Because I want this to be said just right.”

“Then say it already and let’s move on so I can kill you.”

Brent said, “Billy, I have a lot of hate for you, because you had the life I always wanted, and I deserved. But it is a life I never had. And it’s all because of you.”

Billy asked, “And how the hell is it my fault?”

Brent said, “Because you, or should I say the one from whose DNA you were created, was born. You see, about twenty-six years ago, your father had a one-night stand with a woman he met at college. This one-night stand got this woman pregnant. And that child was me.”

Billy asked, “What are you saying?”

Brent replied, “Well, I dunno if we can really refer to ourselves as these anymore, but I guess I’d say that I’m your brother.”

BILLY TO BE CONTINUED…

Billy Episode 12: Brotherhood

Billy said, “You are not my brother. I refuse to believe that.”

Brent replied, ”Well, I guess that’s kind of true in way since you are a clone. I guess I had better continue my story.”

Billy said, “Oh by all means do”

Brent continued, “I was born healthy to my mother. For a few months, our father was happy with me. But eventually, he left my mother. She was alone with me with little resources to take care of me. Your father went and married another woman, the woman that he truly loved.

Now me, I grew up fairly poor, I didn’t have many luxuries. Heck, sometimes I didn’t even have 3 meals a day. But my mother, she tried so hard. But she could only do so much. My father ruined my life. I always prayed that one day he’d return to me. But hope of that was taken away forever when little Billy Hampton was born. Although the love of his life was dead, my father had her only son to raise. And I knew that he’d never be back as long as that kid was alive.”

Billy said, “So you hatred the original Billy Hampton. I am not him, I’m a different person with an identical body.”

Brent said, “That’s irrelevant. Now let me finish. My mother, she eventually had a nervous breakdown, about six years after Billy Hampton was born. She eventually died leaving me all alone in the world.

My world was shattered. I couldn’t go on. And so I did the unthinkable. I hung myself. I was hanging by the ceiling for several hours, technically dead. But my will and hatred for my father was so great, that my will did not allow my soul to leave my body. Eventually, the rope snapped and my body fell. Within a few hours, I was alive again; I was awake.

I needed my father, but he wasn’t there. Now all I wanted was revenge and I knew that there was only 1 way to get him back. Billy Hampton had to die. So, I waited for the opportune time, I studied his actions and I created a situation that I knew would result in his death. I was right. Billy Hampton was fatally wounded by that shot, and when he died it destroyed my father.”

Billy asked, “So YOU were the one who had him killed?”

Brent replied, “That is correct. I thought I finally would be able to have my father back. But hopes of that were dashed when this idiot Dr. Carmen approached him, offering to bring back Billy. And he did. Just look at you, you’re body is an exact replica of his on the outside; even more identical then identical twins. But you had a different soul. You were your own person. But my father didn’t see that. He thought that he had his son back. So I went to Dr. Carmen. Seeing as he was doing illegal medical procedures, I blackmailed him into working for me. I had him do all sorts of of things to try to bring about your death. Unfortunately, you couldn’t be killed. So I developed a liquid, one, which could change all of that for 1 hour. For one hour, the regenerative properties of your body would be gone. But I had to inject it into you, and the only way to do that was to get you to surrender.”

Billy asked, “And you did that by killing people?”

Brent said, “What did I care about them? I tried every tactic I knew. But eventually, nothing worked. But when you met these friends you have now, a connection formed. And I knew that this would be my chance. And so here we are now. Even though my father is dead, I still have a hatred for you, and today I will end your existence, once and for all.”

Billy said, “I really do not care about your lame sob stories. You killed friends of mine, and harmed even more. You are behind the deaths of so many evils. And I will avenge them by taking your life.”

Brent asked, “Which of their deaths do you hate me for the most? Is it the impending deaths of Trevor, Tory, and Kane? Or maybe it’s the deaths of John and Tyler, good friends of Trevor. Or, I know, it was HER death. The death of Tamera Connelly. Tammy for short.”

Billy became outraged, shouting, “Don’t you DARE say her name again.”

Brent asked, “Oh? Did I hit a nerve?”

Billy began to cry. He said, “Why? Why did you do it?”

Brent said, “Why not? It’s not like I cared anything for her, or you for that matter.”

FLASHBACK

Billy was eventually sent to a high priced Middle School. It was there that he met Tamera Connelly, nicknamed, Tammy. Billy had the appearance of a 12-year old boy. Tammy was 12 as well. The two sparked a friendship soon after they met. Tammy was not one of the popular girls; Billy was not one of the popular boys. Eventually, they began to spend all of their free time together.

After a few months of knowing her, Billy eventually told her the secret that he was not born a human, he was created in a lab. He told her about his immunity to injury. He said that although it was a gift, it was also a curse.

Tammy comforted him and became his friend.

One day, Tammy was over Billy’s house while his father was out at work. They had the day off from school due to a teacher conference.

It was early in the morning. About 9AM or so.

Tammy came in and Billy welcomed her.

He said, “Um, I guess you can have a seat. Um, can I get you anything? Glass or water, or?”

Tammy replied, “No, I’m ok. Thanks anyway.”

Billy said, “So, you want to, I dunno, play a game or watch a move or something?”

Tammy said, “Um, if you want to. I guess it’d be ok.”

Billy sat down on the couch next to Tammy. They watched a movie that was in the house. They didn’t know what to say to each other. Both seemed to be tongue-tied. Both of them felt nervous being alone with the other.

When the movie ended, the two just sat on the couch for a few minute. Eventually, both felt drawn to the other. They both reached over to the other and shared a passionate kiss. Billy felt his stomach turning. He didn’t know what was happening. He pulled away from the kiss.

He said to her, “We should stop, before this takes us somewhere we can’t come back from.”

Tammy said, “I-I agree. We don’t want anything to happen that we’ll regret later.”

A few hours later, Tammy went home. Billy was confused about the feelings he had for Tammy.

For the rest of the day, Billy thought about the kiss he shared with Tammy. He wondered about the feelings he had felt during the kiss. He had to put his mind at ease so he resolved to talk to Tammy the next day at school.

Billy went up to Tammy in the schoolyard. He told her about what he had felt the day before. She confessed that she had felt the same things.

They both resolved that they would put those feelings to rest that day.

When Tammy walked away from Billy, a car drove by quickly and fired bullets upon the schoolyard. At first it appeared that nobody was hit but Billy quickly realized that Tammy had been shot. He ran over to her and caught her just as she fell.

Blood was flowing from her chest. Billy began to cry.

He said, “No, you can’t die. I’ll get you help. Hold on.”

Tammy weakly replied, “I’m sorry but it’s too late for me.”

After saying those words she closed her eyes and exhaled her final breath. She died in Billy’s arms.

END OF FLASHBACK

Billy said, “You killed her. She never did anything to you. You took away any chance she had at life. You took away the lives of so many people. For that you will pay.”

Brent said, “What can I say? You made me what I am today Billy. It’s your fault.”

Billy replied, “Don’t you dare blame me for your actions. I will make sure you regret the day you were conceived.”

Brent said, “We shall see indeed.”

Brent walked out of the room. Billy followed him. Brent walked up the stairs and Billy followed him. Brent walked into a bedroom. Billy walked in after him. He remembered that bedroom. It was his bedroom.

Billy closed the door behind him and locked it.

Billy said, “So this is where you want everything to end?”

Brent said, “Yes, it would be very fitting.”

Brent suddenly charged at Billy, knocking him to the ground. Then Brent tightly held Billy in his arms. He ripped of Billy’s clothes and threw them on the ground.

Billy couldn’t move.

Brent said, “I’ve become very well trained in combat. And although you may not be able to feel physical pain, yet, you will shortly. And that doesn’t mean that you are strong.”

Billy asked, “So why did you rip off my clothes then?”

Brent said, “I thought it’d be fitting for you to exit this world as you came in, naked. What can I say, I’ve gained a sadistic side from my hatred.”

Brent took out the vile with the liquid in it that could make Billy able to be killed.

He attached a needle to it and plunged it into Billy’s chest.

He then let Billy go.

Brent said, “Billy you may not have blood in you. But now you will feel pain. You’re body will not regenerate, and you will die by hand.”

Billy said, “I will fight you with everything I have. Now let’s do this.”

Billy Episode 13: The Event of Death (Part 1)

Billy stood in his room about to face his brother in a physical fight to the death.

Billy asked, “So why haven’t you just killed me Brent? Why fight me?”

Brent replied, “Because I want to feel you die with my own hands.”

Billy was completely naked, but that didn’t seem to be an issue to him at all.

Brent charged Billy, knocking him to the ground.

He picked up Billy and smashed him onto the floor. For the first time ever, Billy felt agonizing physical pain. He screamed out loud.

Brent said, “Nobody will hear you, I made sure that this room was soundproof before I brought you up here.”

Brent kicked Billy in the stomach. Billy held his stomach and cried in agony.

Billy got up though and charged at Brent. But his charge hardly had any force in it whatsoever.

Brent said, “You’re pathetic when you can actually die.”

Brent used all of the force he had to knock Billy to the ground. Billy was completely out of energy. He could not move. The immense pain he had was overwhelming.

Brent stood over his brother. He said, “This is it little brother. After this moment it will all be over.”

Brent kneeled down on top of Billy’s legs and reached out for Billy’s neck. He placed his hands on Billy’s neck and began to squeeze with all his might. Billy was too weak to defend himself.

Brent took please in the immense fear he saw in Billy’s eyes. He felt Billy’s breathing thing and his body began to die.

This feeling of power if what Brent had dreamed of. He continued to tighten his firm grip around Billy’s neck. Billy gasped for air but eventually, Brent had crushed his windpipe. Billy could not breath any longer.

In one final second, Billy stopped moving. Brent saw as the life that was in Billy’s eyes quickly faded. He let go of Billy’s neck. He picked up his hand and it flopped to the floor. Billy’s eyes were wide open in a sad stare. Billy was dead.

An hour passed with Brent just staring at Billy’s dead body. After an hour, he took out a large knife and cut off Billy’s arm. The arm was cut but immediately reattached itself. Be began to cut off other body parts off of Billy and each reattached itself. He cut of Billy’s arms, his legs, his head, and his *****. But all of them were reattached and it appeared as if they were never cut off.

The regenerative powers of Billy’s body had returned. But Billy was still dead. The sad stare in his open eyes still remained.

Brent picked up Billy’s body and said, “You’re dead. You’re really dead. And now I can use your body to do good things. So you’re existence will not have been totally useless.”

Brent gave an evil-sounding laugh. He took Billy’s body and placed it in Billy’s bed. He pulled the cover up over it.

He said, “You’re like a life-sized realistic human doll now that cannot break. But your soul is gone. You are dead. Billy, you lose, and I win. It’s game over.”

Brent walked out of Billy’s room, leaving Billy’s dead and naked body in his dead.

Brent walked down the hall when he ran into Kane.

Kane said, “So you’re the one responsible for all the chaos?”

Brent turned around and saw Kane pointing a gun at him.

Brent said, “I guess you could say that. Well Kane, I guess now its time that we resolved our own differences.”

Kane asked, “What differences might those be?”

Brent said to Kane, “You honestly have not figured it out after all of these years? You’re pathetically stupid.”

Kane said, “You got something to say to me, then say it.”

Brent said, “I personally selected you to work for me cause I knew you were tough. Never did I expect that you would turn on me without finding out my little secret.”

Kane said, “What secret? That Dr. Carmen wasn’t going to bring back Kayla?”

Brent said, “While that is true, that is not the secret that I was referring to.”

Kane said, “Stop beating around the bush, just tell me.”

“I wanted you to join me but to do that, you had to have a reason. Plus, I was in the mood to take a life. Once you first feel that empowering moment of taking a life, you crave more.”

“What are you saying? What did you do?”

“A few years ago, I entered a home uninvited. The only one home was a young girl, possibly in her pre-teen years. She was so innocent and so ignorant of what was about to happen to her.”

Kane dashed at Brent but Brent snuck behind him and knocked him to the ground.

Kane said to him, “You, it was you,”

Brent said, “Yes, I took her innocence Kane, her virginity. I raped her. And how good it did feel to have her naked body pressed against mine. And her fear made it all the more pleasurable.”

Kane forced his way up and punched Brent in the face with all his might.

He said, “Why? Why did you do it?”

Brent said, “Because, I felt like it.”

Kane said, “She was just a kid, she didn’t deserve what you gave to her.”

Brent said, “Allow me to continue. Before I raped her, she pleaded for me to leave her alone. During it, she begged me to stop.”

Kane got up again and swung at Brent but her missed.

Brent grabbed Kane and placed his hands around his neck. His tight grip prevented Kane from escaping.

Brent said, “After I finished with her. I could see her heart beating through her chest. She knew what was coming next.”

Kane was in tears but his rage allowed him to break free of Brent’s grip.

Kane said, “I’ll make you pay you sick bastard.”

Brent replied, “You didn’t let me finish. After I had finished with her, I took dear Kayla’s precious neck in my hands, and I ruthlessly snapped it, killing her instantly. Afterwards, I saw the horrified look on her face, and I delighted in that. I had taken her life and it felt great.”

Kane charged at Brent and said, “Die you sick bastard.”

Kane took out his gun and aimed it at Brent.

Brent quickly kicked it out of his hand.

He said, “Your sister was beautiful. Her body was so elegant.”

Kane went to pick up his gun but Brent knocked it away. Then, he took out a knife. Kane charged at him saying, “I’ll make you pay for what you did.”

Brent grabbed Kane as he charged at him. He took his knife and plunged it into Kane’s chest.

Brent moved away from Kane and pulled his knife out of Kane’s chest. Kane collapsed to the ground.

Brent turned his body face-up. A huge wound was in his chest. His heart had been punctured and his blood was pouring out all over him.

Brent reached down to check Kane’s pulse. He found none. Kane was dead.

Brent laughed and said, “Kane, you were a fool. Now you paid the ultimate price for your foolishness. Say hello to Kayla for me.”

Brent walked away.

Tory had gotten tired of waiting downstairs and decided to come up. When he came up he ran into Brent.

Tory immediately knew that he was the enemy and tried to run the other way. Brent chased after him and quickly caught up with him. He reached his hand around Tory’s neck.

Tory said, “Dude, please don’t kill me.”

Brent said, “Too late.”

With that, he ruthlessly snapped Tory’s neck, killing him instantly.

Brent’s satisfaction at taking three lives in so short a time was great.

Brent said to himself, “Only 1 left, Trevor. Killing him would be way to easy. I think that I’ll give him a chance.

Brent heard footsteps coming up the stairs. He hid in a closet so he would not be seen.

Trevor had gone downstairs but he came back up. When he came up, he immediately saw Tory’s body lying on the floor. He ran up to it but it was immediately clear that Tory was already dead. He glanced down the hall and saw Kane’s body. He dragged Tory’s body to where Kane’s was. Kane was lying dead in a pool of his own blood.

Trevor check the doors to see if he could find Billy. He quickly came to Billy’s room.

He went in and was horrified to see Billy lying dead on his bed.

He ran up to Billy and pulled the covers off of his body. He picked up Billy’s body and carried it out into the hallway. He laid Billy’s body down. Billy’s eyes were wide open. Trevor could see the sadness in them. He quickly realized that Billy was dead. All of his friends were dead. They’re dead bodies all lay in front of them. Trevor knew that all had suffered greatly before their deaths.

Trevor placed his hand over Billy’s face and closed his eyes.

At this time, Brent came out of the closet.

He stood in front of Trevor.

Trevor stood up to face him.

Trevor asked, “Did you kill them?”

Brent said, “I did. And now I am going to kill you too, unless you comply with my demands.”

Trevor asked, “What do you mean ‘comply with your demands’?”

Brent replied, “Trevor, I will give you 1 chance, and 1 chance only to save yourself from the fate of these three. The question is, will you take it?”

Trevor stood wondering what Brent had planned for him.

Billy Episode 14: So Long, My Friend (Part 2)

This is the series finale.

Trevor stood in front of Brent. Trevor glanced down at the dead bodies of Kane, Tory, and Billy.

Trevor said to Brent, “You killed them. They couldn’t stop you, could they?”

Brent said, “No, they didn’t know what they were in for. You cannot stop me either you know. But like I said, I’m willing to give you a chance to save yourself.”

Trevor asked, “What’s the point of that? My family is gone, and all of my friends are gone thanks to you.”

Brent replied, “Life is always worth living because you can always do something to better it. So, do you wish to accept my offer to live?”

“What offer?”

“Work for me, partner up with me. Together, we’ll show the world that what willpower can do.”

“Why am I the one receiving this offer?”

“Because, I have no personal grudge against you, and I see potential in you. So I thought that I’d offer you a chance to save yourself. However, if you choose to refuse, I will end your life as easily as I did theirs. Don’t think you can escape. The three dead bodies of your friends that lay before you should be ample evidence that you are not capable of killing me. So that leaves you only 1 other option, join me. Join me a live, do not join me and die. It sounds like a no-brainer if you ask me.”

Trevor said, “They all had so many dreams. You crushed them. Tyler and John may not have been the most normal people, but they were my friends. You killed them. Tory and Billy, they were the closest people I’ve ever known, and you took their lives without a second thought. Kane, I didn’t know him all that well but he just wanted to bring justice to his sister’s killer, who I assume was you. You ended his life so easily.”

Brent said, “You are very observant and intelligent. You and I would work well together. So tell me Trevor, what is your decision?”

Trevor replied, “My friends, they meant everything to me. I would have done anything for them, given anything for them. I’d give anything if I could just undo what you have done today. If I could bring back these three here, I’d give my very life. Without them in this world, I can’t find a reason to go on. So, if you are offering me a choice of working with a murderous ***** like you, or being killed by you, I’d choose the latter.”

Brent said, “Very well then, I shall honor your wish and take your life.”

Brent walked over to Trevor and attempted to snap his neck. Trevor quickly moved out of the way.

He said, “But I’m going to take a third choice, I’m going to avenge their deaths. And if I fail, at least I’ll have gone down fighting.”

Trevor made a secret wish to himself that his friends would wake up, that they would not be dead.

Trevor lunged at Brent and forced him to the ground. Brent quickly got up and whacked Trevor across the face.

Trevor quickly recovered from the blow. He tried to punch Brent but Brent dodged and punched Trevor hard in the stomach. Trevor fell to the ground in agonizing pain.

Brent picked Trevor up and went over to the stairs. With all of his might, he threw Trevor down the stairs. Trevor bumped his head hard during the fall. He landed at the bottom of the steps.

Brent said, “There you go kid, now you’re with your friends again.”

Brent turned to walk away but he noticed that Trevor was moving. Trevor managed to acquire the strength to get up. He charged up the stairs and knocked Brent to the ground.

Brent got up and said, “You’re a tough one aren’t you? Why don’t you just die already?”

Trevor said, “Because I’m not done with you yet.”

Trevor charged at Brent but Brent grabbed his arm and pulled it hard but Trevor managed to break away before Brent could break it.

Brent decided to take the fighting to a more opportune location. He went into the bathroom and opened the skylight and climbed out of it.

Trevor followed.

They both were on the roof.

Brent said, “Now the fight can really be interesting. One wrong move and you fall to your death.

Trevor said, “Wow, you must be in a real mood to die.”

Brent laughed and said, “Keep telling yourself that kid.”

Brent went to punch Trevor but Trevor moved away and avoided the attack.


Trevor turned around and punched Brent across the face. Brent nearly lost his balance but managed to stay on the roof.

Trevor went to attack Brent again but Brent tripped Trevor and Trevor lost his balance. Trevor began to fall off of the roof but he managed to hold onto it.

Brent walked over to Trevor and pulled him up.

However he quickly threw Trevor off the roof with all of his might. Trevor knew that it was all over now. Trevor landed in the pool.

The pain of his wounds prevented Trevor from swimming. He saw his life flash before his eyes. Suddenly, he saw a bright light. In that bright light, he saw Billy, Tory, and Kane. They were alive.

Trevor thought to himself, “Their lives, for mine. That’s what I want.”

Trevor smiled as he closed his eyes.

Suddenly, Billy, Kane, and Tory all woke up. They all stood up. Kane’s wound had completely healed. Tory’s neck had been restored. Billy’s windpipe had been reopened. They were all alive. They all rejoiced that their lives had been restored.

Tory asked Billy, “Dude why are you naked?”

Kane said, “That seems to happen a lot with you people.”

Billy said, “We don’t have time to worry about that. We have to find Trevor before Brent gets to him.

Brent came down from the bathroom at this time. Seeing the three boys he had personally killed standing before him shook him up.

He said, “No, wait, you guys are dead. I personally killed you.”

Billy walked up to Brent and asked, “Where is Trevor?”

Brent said, “You’re too late, I already killed him.”

Billy slammed Brent hard against the wall.

He said, “Liar, now tell me where he is.”

Brent threw Billy off and knocked him to the ground.

He said, I guess I’ll just have to kill you all again.”

Tory said, “No, not this time. Because this time, we’re all going to take you on, together. And you cannot beat us when we work together.”

Brent tried to run away but Kane stood in his way.

Kane jumped on Brent, then Tory did, and Billy followed. All used all of their strength to attack Brent.

Brent could not get all of them off of him and was helpless under their attack.

They all began to rapidly attack Brent.

Finally, Brent managed to get up but Billy, Tory, and Kane refused to let up their attack. Billy pulled out a knife from Brent’s pocket and stabbed Brent in the stomach with it. Brent collapsed to the ground.

Billy said, “Now it’s time for to die.”

Kane said, “No, not yet. Before we kill him, there is something that I need to do.”

Kane signaled Tory and Billy to help him undress Brent. They did so and Brent was left naked and bleeding.

Kane took the knife in his hands and said, “This is for Kayla.” After saying that, he used the knife and cut off Brent’s *****.

Brent screamed in extreme agony.

Kane said, “Justice is finally served for what you did.”

Tory then took the knife stabbed Brent’s stomach again.

He said, “That was for John, Tyler, and Trevor.”

Then Billy took the knife in his hands and plunged it hard into Brent’s chest, piercing his heart.

Billy said, “That was for all of the people who you killed, now burn in hell you bastard.”

Brent bled to death within minutes.

Kane took back the knife and used it to cut off Brent’s head. Brent’s blood was all over the floor. His eyes were wide open.

Billy said, “We have to find Trevor, and fast.”

They searched the whole floor but saw no sign of Trevor.

Then Tory thought to look out the window and was horrified to see Trevor floating facedown in the pool.

Tory called and Billy and Kane and they ran outside to the pool. Billy still had on no clothes so he jumped in the pool and pulled Trevor out.

Trevor’s eyes were closed and his skin pale.

Billy felt for a pulse but he found none. Trevor was not breathing.

Billy began to do CPR. After ten minutes of nothing, Tory said, “Billy, that’s enough. He’s gone.”


Billy said, “No, he can still be revived.”

Billy began to pound hard upon Trevor’s chest. He began to cry, realizing that it was futile. Trevor was dead.

Kane said, “Billy, he’s gone.”

Billy said, “NO, I was dead, you were dead, Tory was dead. He can still be revived.”

Every one of them began to cry and reflected upon how they had met Trevor. Tory felt very sad, as he had known Trevor for most of his life.

Tory remembered his times with Trevor.

FLASHBACK

Tory had met Trevor when he was 7 and Trevor was 8. It just so happened that it was at a summer camp. It was a camp for boys, ages 7-12. It was Tory’s first time away from home. He was a little nervous. He and Trevor shared a tent.

On his first night there, Tory was up crying. Trevor was there to comfort him and get him used to the camp life.

The next day, after a workout, the campers were all required to take a shower. Tory was nervous. He sat on the floor of his tent.

Trevor went up to him and asked, “So, what’s wrong with you now?”

Tory replied, “They want me to take a shower and I don’t want to take one.”

Trevor asked, “Now why is that? Don’t you want to get clean or do you want to smell like sweat all night?”

Tory replied, “I’ll take the sweat.”

“Now why would you do that?”

“Because, I do not want to shower. I just don’t like other people seeing me, um, without my clothes on.”

“So you’re embarrassed? Well that’s normal. I was like you a few ago too. But it’s fine. It’s not like they’re going to beat you up or anything.”

Tory said, “I know, but I just don’t want to be seen. I’ve never been seen by anyone but my parents and my doctor.”

Trevor said, “Here, hold on a second.”

Trevor took off all of his clothes and threw them on the floor. Then he sat back down in front of Tory and said, “Now you get naked." Come on, I thought we were friends.”

Tory said, “Ok, but I don’t see how this is going to help me.”

Tory took off his clothes and threw them on the floor and sat back down.

Tory felt extremely embarrassed.

Trevor said, “Ok, so now you’ve seen me naked, and I’ve seen you. Now, we both are boys. And so is everyone else at this camp. Sure some may be older but boys are boys. Do you really see much of a difference?”

Tory said, “I still don’t know. I’m one of the youngest ones here.”

Trevor said, “Listen, age is irrelevant. It’s just a shower. Like I said, we’re all the same here. I have a *****; you have a *****. That makes us boys and that means we can’t go around being insecure about ourselves. We must be fearless, especially over things so silly. Now come on, let’s just take the freaking shower. Then afterwards, when NOTHING happens, we can laugh about how goofy you’re acting right now.”

Tory replied, “OK, but if anything goes wrong I’m holding you responsible.”

Trevor said, “Ok, I can accept that. Plus, you’re going to have to show your body to some lucky girl one day.”

“What?”

“Um, never mind, forget I said anything. Now let’s go, this sweaty really itches.”

The two laughed.

Tory and Trevor took their showers and were fine. It just so happened that they had taken so long that only two other kids were in the showers when they came, and they were as young and embarrassed as Tory was so Tory felt a little less embarrassed. Although he didn’t have to face a big crowd, Tory gained confidence from Trevor that helped him in many other situations later in life. Although it was an awkward memory, it was one that Tory remembered whenever he felt nervous to do something. He always remembered Trevor saying how one has to be fearless.

END OF FLASHBACK!

Eventually, Billy accepted the fact that Trevor was dead and that there was no way to bring him back. Billy decided that the best thing to do now was to burn down his house. But first he finally put on some clothes. Afterwards, Kane and Tory helped him set the place on fire, burning up all that was inside, including Brent’s body.

They carried Trevor’s body to the lake and called the cops saying that he had drowned in it.

The cops came and took away Trevor’s body. Every one of them felt extremely depressed about it. Trevor was their friend and now he was gone from the world forever.

Trevor’s body was taken to the morgue. Billy, Tory, and Kane were granted permission to visit his body one final time.

They were lead to slab where Trevor was laid. The sheet covering his body was pulled down so that he was exposed from his stomach up. The doctors had removed his cloths leaving his body on the slab naked.

Kane was the first one to say something to Trevor.

He said, “Dude, I didn’t know you all that well. But you helped me avenge Kayla’s death. You acted as my friend. Dude, I know I acted awkward the other day and I just wanted to apologize for that. So, anyway, I’ll let you get for now. I’m sure these guys have a lot more to say to you.”

Kane walked out of the morgue.

Tory walked up to Trevor’s body next. His eyes were full of tears at seeing another of his close friends dead. Trevor’s body was very pale. Tory reached out his hand and touch Trevor’s chest.

He said, “You gave me courage to be confident in myself, you were my friend. We did so much together, discovered so much together. When I was hurt in that accident, you were there for me. Now, you’re dead. My best friend in the whole world; gone forever, just like that. It just isn’t fair. You shouldn’t have had to die.”

Unknown to Tory and Billy, Trevor’s spirit was in the room. He put his hand on Tory’s shoulder.

He said, “Hey, none of that. You’re a man remember?”

Although Tory’s ears did not physically hear the words, he somehow felt Trevor’s presence saying them.

Tory continued, “Anyway, I hope you get to heaven fast and I hope you’ll be praying for us down here. Say hello to those two practical jokers John and Tyler for me. It’s nice to know that we got someone else pulling for us with the big man upstairs. Goodbye Trevor.”

Tory then left the morgue. Trevor’s spirit watched as Billy approached his body.

Billy said, “Wow, this takes me back. I was comforting you in this very situation just mere months ago. So much has changed since we met. My life has changed. When I met you, I had become so desensitized to emotion that I became heartless. You gave me back my heart. You know, when I said that I didn’t have a girlfriend, I lied. I did have a girl once. We shared a kiss. But she died before we really got to know each other as well as we would have liked.

Tory, Kane, and I, we’ve all become close friends, and it’s all because of you Trevor. I feel a great emptiness inside of me now that you’re gone. I’ll never see your friendly smile, or hear your reassuring laugh again. But I’ll live, I’ll live for you. I’ll make sure that I honor the sacrifice that you made. You somehow managed to make it so that you could trade your life for Tory’s, Kane’s, and mine. You were some person Trevor, and I will never forget you.”

Trevor’s spirit said to Billy, “I’ll never forget you either. I’ll be waiting for you all.”

With that, his spirit disappeared into a bright light and Billy covered Trevor’s body and left the morgue. Billy inherited lots of money from his father. He made sure that Trevor had a proper funeral. Kane, Tory, and Billy completed their educations.

10 YEARS LATER!

Billy arrived at Trevor’s gravesite. His tombstone contained a small statue of Jesus.

Billy sat next to his grave and talked to him.

Billy said, “I just wanted to let you know that tomorrow I’m getting married. You know for a while now that I’ve been going with this girl and we got engaged recently. Tomorrow’s the big day. I’m nervous no doubt, but I’ll be fine. You would’ve liked her, she’s so cheerful and nice. She’s a beautiful girl and has beautiful long brown hair. Tory is my best man. I wish you could be there, but something tells me, that you’ll see it.

Speaking of Tory, he’s engaged to. His girl is a tough one, keeps him in line, but they love each other. Kane is married to a nice girl and their expecting their first child.


I can only imagine what you would’ve done with your life, and how ours would’ve been better had you been in them longer. But, unfortunately, you couldn’t. But we remember you always Trevor. You were our friend, and you still are. You’re in our hearts, and we will never forget the gift you gave to us. I’ll be back soon to tell you all about the wedding.

Billy began to walk away from Trevor’s gravesite. As he was walking, he felt a calm breeze. The breeze seemed to bring Billy a peaceful feeling. Billy could feel the joy and laughter of Trevor in that breeze. It brought a smile to his face as he walked out of the cemetery. Billy said, “Trevor, you were one heck of a boy.”
