Okay, I recently started working on some cool codes for this forum. Like adding a banner to the top, music, add links, awesome custom skins, new text types, and more! But... small problem... ForumUp wont support any type of code at all... the only kind of codes we can use on ForumUp are the codes the ForumUp main site provide for us... so... there's absolutly nothing I can do...

So... I have a few small suggestions:
- We "move" this forum to another forum service [I prefer Proboards because I can use so many codes there].
- We "clean" this forum. By that I mean we delete past threads that don't really belong here anymore, etc. Make the forum look "new". After that we can begin to "rebuild" it.
- We keep everything as it is now, and start a mass spam advertising on many sites.

Well... those are really our only three options on making this place better... just post here and let me hear your feedback. Please, I'd like to hear from all members, not just the admin. This is kind of a "team-effort".

Well, I'd like to do the third and the first of second. I have considered moving to another forum. It may work better. I'd Mass Email all the members to let them know about the change. Rebuilding this site seems like a lot of work so maybe it would be best to move to another forum. However, if we do, it would have to be a totally revamped forum. The theme would be changed and the focus becoming more friendly to all posters instead of simply fans of anime. All posts on this forum would not be carried over if we do move, with the exception of fanfics, which I will personally move.

And we'd need a catchy name for a new forum. I may just use proboards. We'll see. I need more feedback first.

Alright, if you decide to make the change, let only me and you be members as first, and both have admin powers. That way, you can start making the forum, while I work on all the coding.

Ok, but I will not send out the emails, nor give out the link, nor even officially close this forum, until we COMPLETE the forum. That way, if anything goes wrong, it won't be too big a loss.

Yes, that would be a smart thing to do. Well just let me know whenever you are ready to do this... although we should get some feedback first.

I'll wait for Jnin and Tcam to give feedback.

I'm a little busy with getting used to 10th Grade work but once I get back in the groove, I'll be ready. That should be by next week.


Question, is Proboards better then Forumup? Does it slow as much as Forumup? Can I make Subforums on Proboards? Just wanna get all the facts before we make the board. And I'll need some lessons on actually administering the forum.

Well... Proboards lets you use a diversety of your own codes, does not care about any content on your forum at all, over 10k servers [preventing freezing and long term matenience], you can make sub-boards, etc. etc. etc., and it's all free!

Yeah.. I think Proboards are better.

Sounds like this may work out afterall. Is it as simple to use as Forumup?

And dude, they don't show anything in those adds unless you click them. So it works the same way as with word adds. The only way you see them is if you click them.
